What Is GSF One

GSF One: Advanced Flame & Spark Detector by GSF Technologies

GSF One is an advanced flame detector designed to detect flames and sparks quickly and reliably. Manufactured by GSF Technologies in Greece, it is a high-performance ultraviolet radiation detector.

How it Works

Advanced Flame and Spark Detector from GSF Technologies

Flame or Spark Detection

The GSF One detector issues a fire alarm only when it detects a real flame or spark within its coverage area.
Direction Arrows
STEP 1

Alarm to Responsible Person

The fire alarm is transmitted immediately to the designated fire safety officer, who can see on their computer screen or other device the zone where the fire originated in real time.

STEP 2

Notifying Additional Parties

Simultaneously, there is the possibility of notifying additional designated persons—via SMS to their mobile phones—of the exact location of the fire.

STEP 3

Monitoring & Report

From the moment the fire is detected, the system continuously monitors its development, and once it is extinguished, it sends another report indicating that the fire has been put out.
STEP 4

Information

General Operation

The GSF One detector triggers an alarm only when it detects an actual flame or spark in its coverage area. The alarm is immediately forwarded to a fire safety officer, showing the exact zone where the fire began in real time on a computer or other device. Simultaneously, SMS messages are sent to the mobile phones of responsible persons with the fire’s location, enabling quick response.

The system monitors the fire’s evolution and sends a report once the fire is extinguished.

Ultraviolet Radiation UV

Applications

GSF One is extremely accurate, making it ideal for many fire detection applications. Thanks to its specialized software, it allows the fire alarm to be customized to the user’s needs. We can filter out short-duration detections, regardless of flame intensity, ensuring the alarm is triggered only when necessary.

The detector’s rejection time and sensitivity settings are easily configured during installation, offering flexibility in applying GSF One in various environments, such as:

Forests and Agricultural Areas

UV detection systems monitor areas 24/7/365 and, in the event of a fire—regardless of weather conditions—provide immediate alerts upon detection of sparks or open flames. Due to their high sensitivity, these systems are capable of covering areas on the scale of several square kilometers.
